Lyndy Benson

Lyndy Benson is a man of few words, but speaks volumes with the stroke of his paintbrush. Whether bulbous clouds glinting with the gold of a setting sun or the wrinkles
and knowing eyes of a weathered cowboy, there is no artist that better captures the soul of the West.
Lyndy brings a knowing hand to his creations having worked on ranches in Arizona,
Wyoming and Texas. Between mending fences and digging wells, Lyndy made mental notes and took countless photographs and sketches of the variations in colors, textures and emotions of the land,
people and animals. Each painting reflects the years of research and practice that Lyndy has put into capturing the captivatingly harsh land and intricately disheveled people that are the frontier.
Currently, Lyndy Benson lives in Cleburne, Texas with his wife, Lisa. His children, Kincade, Katie Beth, and Will, are grown, but visit often. Lyndy spends his days working as a graphic artist at Lockheed Martin,
his nights painting, and his weekends rooting for TCU football.
